I am going to be taking the month of May off from posting. I am due on the 10th and I cannot wait to spend sometime with my sweet little boy, 3 year old daughter and hubby. I have to leave you with my nursery I have just finished for my little boy.
Since our little boy will be sharing a room with our little girl I had to think of a good way to keep it neutral. I decided to do the whole room in grey and white and then used pops of teal on the boys side of the room and pops of coral on Emma's side.
I began by painting grey & white stripes on the wall where the white crib would go.
Then I wanted to mix in a modern geographic print for his sheet so I picked up this one on Etsy.
I also wanted a chevron print blanket. I stumbled upon this amazing knitted grey and white chevron blanket from Etsy as well. This blanket is simply stunning I adore it.
Next it was time to finish off the wall to the left of his little crib.
I had a set of antlers which I painted white and mounted on a wood placard which I also painted white. Next, I found this cool canvas print at HomeGoods and it was the perfect fit to inspire my little one. This amazing mobile was the hardest thing to find. I am very picky about putting cheesy kids things on them or in their room. After searching every where for a non cheesy mobile I took my search to Etsy and low and behold there was this perfect handmade airplane mobile made from recycled paper.
I am so happy with how this room came together. Hope you enjoy your May and I will see you back here soon.
