Dainty Details

Don't get me wrong I am a girl of statement and statement jewelry is my fav. Though there is something so refreshing about wearing a simple dainty piece that gives a hidden detail. Small necklaces or bracelets create and interesting unique feel to an outfit. Which is your which of these dainty details would you don?

Transitioning to Fall

I love the cold mornings sipping coffee in my office. Fall is such a wonderful time with cozy nights and hot tea. Sometimes the transition from Summer to Fall can put a big dent in your wallet unless you find pieces that can easily transition to fall.

1. Peplum Skirt: Topshop {For fall pair it with tights booties and a cardi}  2. Sweater dress is a Fall must have 3. Leather Jacket: Veda via ShopBop {Perfect paired with jeans or a pencil skirt} 4. Booties via Spool 72 {Booties are perfect for transitioning to Fall and dressing up jeans or leggings} 5.Topshop Peplum Top {Wear with leggings or a pencil skirt and tights for a fresh Fall look} 6. Polkdot tights via Shopbop {Pattern tights are a great way to add detail to your Fall wardrobe}

Fav New Designer {Maje}

Last week I had a blast at Fashion Night Out in San Francisco. I spent the evening with the adorable Anne Sage from City Sage and Mira from Mira Mira(a great boutique in SF). We attended the Nieman Marcus, Macys and Marc Jacobs events ending our evening in Bloomingdales. Anne was purchasing a few new pieces of beauty and I found myself in the Maje section. I literally was dieing over every piece. I loved the colors of the current collection as well as the amazing feel of the fabrics. Maje is a Parisian line designed by Judith Milgrom and I am now a huge fan. I have gathered a few of my favorite items for your viewing pleasure.

The Baby is Coming

I am going to be taking the month of May off from posting. I am due on the 10th and I cannot wait to spend sometime with my sweet little boy, 3 year old daughter and hubby. I have to leave you with my nursery I have just finished for my little boy.

Since our little boy will be sharing a room with our little girl I had to think of a good way to keep it neutral. I decided to do the whole room in grey and white and then used pops of teal on the boys side of the room and pops of coral on Emma's side.

I began by painting grey & white stripes on the wall where the white crib would go.

Then I wanted to mix in a modern geographic print for his sheet so I picked up this one on Etsy.

I also wanted a chevron print blanket. I stumbled upon this amazing knitted grey and white chevron blanket from Etsy as well. This blanket is simply stunning I adore it.

Next it was time to finish off the wall to the left of his little crib.

I had a set of antlers which I painted white and mounted on a wood placard which I also painted white. Next, I found this cool canvas print at HomeGoods and it was the perfect fit to inspire my little one. This amazing mobile was the hardest thing to find. I am very picky about putting cheesy kids things on them or in their room. After searching every where for a non cheesy mobile I took my search to Etsy and low and behold there was this perfect handmade airplane mobile made from recycled paper.

I am so happy with how this room came together. Hope you enjoy your May and I will see you back here soon.

Stages of Beauty Review

I recently received Stages of Beauty HARMONY  Invigorating Toner and I immediately fell in love. This light, clean and refreshing toner was made just for women in their 30s. Stages of Beauty prides itself on their age-specific skincare solutions. I love that they have products to directly cater to my age group. The Harmony line is specifically formulated for women in their 30s to focus on promoting the skins natural ability to exfoliate and regenerate new skin cells while supporting collagen and elastin.

The first time I sprayed this toner on my cotton pad I was invigorated by the fresh clean scent. Then using the cotton pad I swiped it across my face and neck leaving my skin feeling refreshed and clean. I normally have very dry skin and toners typically leave my skin feeling dry but, this toner was different it left my skin feeling refreshed and invigorated.

 Pop on over to the Stage of Beauty website to learn more about the brand and about your age-specific skincare treatment.
